Westmead is well known for its state of the art Westmead Hospital and  Children’s Hospital but also includes two high schools, as well as being home to over 5,000 people.

With a train station and bus link, Westmead is an extremely popular suburb to live in. Toongabbie Creek, a major tributary of the Parramatta River, flows through the suburb. The suburb also has its own entrance to Parramatta Park & the University of Western Sydney is easily accessible.
